Project Overview
This project showcases a systematic staircase landing wood flooring installation. Initially, our team prepared the substrate by installing a leveling grid of thin wood furring strips. Next, we secured a new plywood subfloor and marked a precise grid to guide the fasteners. After that, we installed wide-plank, grey oak flooring to match the existing dark wood treads. Consequently, these careful preparatory steps ensured a flat, durable, and aesthetically cohesive landing. The final result demonstrates how detailed subfloor work leads to a high-quality finish.
